The Rusty Harpoon was bought twelve years ago by Wisconsin Native Jerome E. Metcalfe, the Rusty Harpoon Restaurant remains a family place on the landscape of Kaanapali Beach.
The family has relocated to the island of Maui over the years to help run and establish the Rusty Harpoon as a premiere dining, happy hour and live sports venue.
Owner and daughter of Jerome E Metcalfe, Suzzette Metcalfe takes pride in her award winning signature dishes. Voted "Best Chef of the Mid-West", Suzzette has worked with many of the elite chefs from around the world bringing her world class recipes and experience to her Dad’s restaurant
No stranger to the restaurant business,Suzzette is using fresher products, adding more seasoning, cutting her own steaks, smoking meats in-house, and overall increasing morale in the kitchen and quality of food served. We should expect many fabulous food creations from The Rusty Harpoon.
